Card Captor Twins

Chapter One
Windy and Shadow
Its a beautiful morning in the setting known to be Sakuras house, but
somethings different. Inside one of the bedrooms, thats oddly small and dark,
a radio alarm is going off.
~Its a beautiful day today folks! Right now its 38 degrees, and itll be in the
40's by the evening so its going to be a cool Thursday..~ a hand from under a
ruffle of blankets hits the snooze again. "Dumb clock...Zzzzzz the book." a
gruntle boys voice says.
In another room, the same size but more colorful, not to faraway a little Hello
Kitty clock is also going off ~Beep, Beep, Beep~ and it to is shut off by a hand
under a less ruffled blanket. "Mmm... book?" the gentle voice of a girl mumbles.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, a women seemingly in her late twentys is looking
through a briefcase full of papers of all sorts. "Ow, now were did I put that
document about the new Egyptian exhibit? Oh, what is it!" pulls up her sleeve to
look at her wristwatch. "Oh not again! SORA! SHOW! HURRY YOUR LATE FOR SCHOOL!"
she shouts up stairs.
In pink and white colored room, a girl with long red hair that reaches her waist
sits straight up and rubs her blue eyes looking at her Hello Kitty clock. "Oh
no! Show get up!" she says to a wall with a door across from her bed, as she
runs to the closet to get some clothes.
In the deep blue colored room, a boy with spiky silver hair turns over pulling
the blankets over his head. "Mmmm"
The pink haired girl Sora now dressed in her school uniform, opens up the door
on the far wall and crosses over to silver haired Shows bed. "Get up lazy!"
"Zzzzzz."
Temple pulsing, Sora takes a discarded pillow from Shows bed and bashes it over
his head. "WAKE UP!!!"
"OWWW! WHATS THE BIG IDEA?!!?" Show shouts as he sits up on the bed looking at
the same blue eyes as his own.
"Look at the time!"
"What?..... NUTS!!!!" jumping from his bed, Show grabs some tossed cloths from
the corner of his room and runs to the bathroom.
Back downstairs, Sora and Shows mother is pacing about the place looking for her
lost document. "Arg. Where is it! SORA, SHOW HURRY!"
Show and Sora practically jumping down the stairs race for the doorway to grab
there shoes and travel gear.
"Bye mom." Sora says as she gets her biking helmet and drags the bike from the
wall through the door.
"Have you two seen my... "
"Under your briefcase mom." Show said as he put on his skating gear and kicking
his skateboard to his hands.
"Huh?.... oh. Thanks, and Show don't you...."
"Get into anymore fights." Sora said from outside in a mimicking tone of her
mothers.
"Yes, and Sora don't you..."
"Pick a fight with anybody from the neighboring schools." Show said in the same
manner.
Their mother raises her arms in the air "Why do I bother saying anything around
the two of you?"
Sora and Show say in unition as they leave the house "Because well do it
anyway."
Sighing. "Oh ya."
Outside the two ride off to their school. Show is trying to look cool, zig
zagging around the polls and Sora is looking ahead deep in thoughts of her
dream.
"Yo sis, whats wrong?" Show says when he notices how Sora looked.
"I had the weirdest dream last night...." she answers, not looking up.
Show slowed his pace and cocked his head down "Was there.... a book?"
"Ya... huh!"
"I hate when you do that." looking at her sideways.
"I don't read your dreams, you read mine!" she said furiously.
"No, youve got it backwards. YOU read My dreams! "pointing at each other as he
said this.
"Why did I end up with YOU as my twin!!!" Sora snarled.
"Ditto!"
The twins once again fell into an argument about who did what. They were broken
up when three kids their age stood in their path. "Well if it isnt the loser
twins!" a blond said to his black haired and blued haired companions. They were
wearing different uniforms from Sora and Show, meaning they were from different
schools.
Show hopped off his skateboard and nudged it to the far wall "Wrong, thats the
Lousu Twins." Figured some one from Akimetsu would get it wrong. he grinned
Sora standing her bike up "You three picked the right time to start up
something, for us anyway."
The blue haired Akimetsu student said sarcastically "Oooh, the little wimpy girl
is going to hurt us. I'm soo scarred, please have mercy? "he grinned as he high
five his blond friend.
"HEY! I'M the only one who is aloud to call her a wimp!" Show said jerking is
thumb towards himself.
The black haired Akimetsu student opened up his arms "What are you going to do
about it?"
Show wasted no time in bringing his fist to this guys face "THIS!" and so to
make a long story short, after pounding on the three Akimetsu students for
twelve minutes and being extremely late Sora and Show found themselfs waiting
outside the principles office with new scrapes and bruises. "Dumb Akimetsus
made us late AGAIN!"
Sora nodding her head "And the principle KNOWS we've been fighting again."
And the twins in unition in a shadow of gloom said "That means were kicked out
for another week."
"Why do you two always have to do your fighting before school anyway?" came the
voice of man, who just came out from the office.
"Not our fault those Akimetsus like to start with us Principle Juno." Sora
said.
"Or that their so dumb for picking fights with us." Show said under his breath,
but he knew Sora would hear him. Not that she had good hearing, more like a
bond they had since they could remember, at times they could almost see
through each others eyes. They hated it openly, but they were really glad they
shared something special that no one would understand deep down.
Shaking his head, Principle Juno said "Well, you two know what to do... and is
your mother on another business trip?"
"Egypt." they said again in unition.
<I hate when they do that its... creepy.> "Well get going, and make sure that
she finds out about this!"
"Yes Principle Juno." Sora said.
"The moment she's back sir." Show said as they left for home. "You had to wake
me didn't you?"
"As if I knew this would happen?"
"Arg! And just when I was opening the book."
"Hey, weren't we arguing about that?"
"Beats me."
"Not really..."
"Ya...."
In unition "WE BEAT IT!" and laughing like they have heard the funniest joke in
the universe, they got on their gear and rode off.
"Hey Sora? Whatcha thinks in that book anyway?" Show was again zigging through
the polls on their way home.
"Maybe a romantic story of a brave samurai who saves the beautiful red haired
damsel in de-stress." she answered blushing at the thought.
"Ya right! Why would YOU even a fake you need a samurai to save ya? More likely
the red head GIVES the samurai de-stress! Haha!"
"THATS IT!" Sora peddled top speed to plow over her twin brother "HOLD STILL!"
"HEY! ITS A JOKE CHILL!" Show replied as he raced off ahead of his sister,
taking no chances.
Back at their house for over an hour, Show and Sora were bored. "Well sis now
what?"
Looking at him sideways "How should I know?"
Lying down on the coach, Show looked at the ceiling "I'm going to sleep, who
knows maybe I'll see whats in that book?"
"Ya right, it was my dream."
Show decided not to respond, he knew that even if it was one of their dreams
they'd never see it alone. Just as he was about to fall asleep, Show got this
weird feeling. No make that heard something, or was it a feeling? "Sora?"
"Ya I heard it to.... I think."
Getting off the couch and heading to the basement door "Moms work room? But no
ones down there."
Standing right beside Show "Well, maybe the neighbors cat got in there.... or
its a..."
"Burglar...."
They looked at each other for a moment, before mischiefs grins crossed there
faces "Oh ya." they said in a whisper, before entering the basement.
The basement was a collection of shelves filled with all sorts of papers, books
an ancient artifacts. Sora looked around looking for the source of the sound "No
one? Not even a mouse? NUTS!"
"Ya telling me? But what made that.... whatever it was?" Show asked. But then
they heard and felt it again, coming from one of the shelves.
"What the?........ Show! Is that what I think it is?"
"Ummm, if you think its that book from our dream ya."
There it was siting on the shelf, a book with a red cover, golden tips. Show
took it from the shelf to make sure it was the same from the dream he and Sora
had. Sure enough it was the front cover was titled THE CLOW and it had an
illustration of a lion-like beast with wings standing over a sun, and it had a
sort of clip lock but no lock to it. "How do you open this thing?"
Sora looked over it "No lock? Here give me it."
"No way! I've picked your diary loads of times give me a second."
"WHAT!"
"Oppsie...."
"GIVE ME THAT!" Sora grabbed the book, and she and Show started a tug of war for
it till all of the sudden..... the lock opened. ........."what
Just happened?......" the two looked at each other for a minute. Then they
decided to look at it together. Inside of the book were cards on the cards
seemed to be a symbol of the sun, moon, stars and others things neither Sora or
Show recognized. "Cards?"
"Hey isn't this the book they found in that ruin a few weeks ago?" Mom said no
one knows a thing about it. Sora said as she plucked the top card from the
book.
Show did the same for the next card "Hey, I bet that this is another publicity
stunt to get people to buy these...... you think mom will let us keep these?"
"Who knows? What card you got?" she looked at what card he picked up, it had the
words 'THE SHADOW' written on the bottom it had an illustration of a cloaked
creator on it. "Bet mine beats yours."
"Oh really? What card do you have?" Show said looking at his sisters card, it to
had an illustration and writing on it. But it read 'THE WINDY' and it had
picture of a women on it she was encased in wings, had her arms crossed around
her and wore a strange crown that itself looked like wings. "What do you mean,
my guy could kick your gals butt!"
"Ya right! I say that your weakling cloaky man can't stand a fight with my
powerhouse angel!"
"What fantasy world do you live in!"
:You've got it backwards!"
Then the two started to say on after another.

Till all they could say was each card at the same time.
"SHADOW IS THE BEST!"
"WINDY IS THE BEST!"
Then all of the sudden a dark shadow and a burst of wind came from nowhere and
the two were engulfed by twisters of shadow and wind alike. And the cards began
to be blown away for the book through the house and into the world, till all
that remained in the basement were the shelves, the collection of artifacts,
Show, Sora, the book and two of the remaining cards Shadow and Windy.
Show looked about the room "What the... what was that?.... Sora! The cards!
Their GONE!"
"Jezzz! Mom is not going to like this!"
The two looked at each other trying to figure out what happened. Until the book
moaned. "Sora books can't do that right?" he stared at the book in his and his
sisters hands letting go of his end as Sora did the same.
"Show lets go back ok?" Sora said weakly.
"Uh ya."
But neither of them moved as the book cover closed itself and a bright light
shone from it. Then slowly a small round figure came out form the cover,
followed by a slender form with wings and lastly a tail with a little tuff at
the end. It was no bigger then Soras Hello Kitty clock, it was golden brown and
looked like a chibifide cross between a lion and a bear with wings. It opened
its mouth and yawned. "Man have I been asleep.... huh? Oh!" it looked up to the
twins and rose to the air "GREETINGS I AM KEROBEROS GUARDIAN BEAST OF THE SEAL!"
Show waving his hand "HI I'M SHOW TOTALLY FREAKED OUT KID WHOLL TURN YOU TO MUSH
IF I DONT GET SOME ANSWERS!"
Whispering to Show "No, lets keep him! He'll make such a cute pet!"
"Um I heard that, I have these ears for a reason you know. "The creator calling
himself Keroberos said. "Now who woke me........ AHHHHHHH!!!!! THE CLOW
CARDS!!!!"
The beast screamed as he looked at the books inside.
"Clow Cards? You mean like this one?" Show said giving Keroberos a look at the
Shadow Card.
"And this one?" Sora followed up with the Windy Card.
"YES WERE ARE THEY?"
"Beats us, a wind blow from nowhere and they all vanished except for the
Shadmmmpp!" Show said but was quickly stopped by Keroberos who had placed his
stubby arms over Shows mouht.
"DON'T SAY ITS NAME AGGHHH!!!" the little beast shouted till he found himself in
a tight grip of Shows.
Shaking Keroberos "WHATS YOUR PROBLEM!?!"
Sora went over and pried open Shows hand and looked at the creator who had
spiral eyes now. "Look whats going on?"
Keroberos gained his composure "I'm in charge of protecting those cards. They're
dangerous on their own, and now that there scattered its not a good thing."
Show looked confused "Excuse me? But how can cards be dangerous?"
These arent normal cards there magic.
"Ooooh....... MAGIC!!!!!"
"Yep and very powerful magic at that."
Sora looked at the small creature "Umm Kerofeos where are these cards from?"
"Its Keroberos, and they were made by the greatest magician of the world, Clow
Reed!"
Show began to hold his chin "Clow Reed? I've never heard of him. Kerostos, how
dangerous are the cards?"
"I said its Keroberos! And they can be very, very dangerous."
"You mean like, can hurt people Keronatos?" Sora asked.
"KEROBEROS!!!! And yes they can or worse."
Show stared down at the Shadow <But Shadow seems kinda, cool. Actually I fell
better with this in my hand then anything> "Keronato..satus...... Look we'll
call you Kero so ya dont complain. Are these two dangerous?" he asked holding
up the Shadow card.
"Fine I can live with Kero, and yes but to the one that doesn't have magical
powers."
"Come again?"
The one who opened the book may use the cards and no one else. So which one of
you two opened it? Kero asked looking at the two.
Both said "Me." and glared at each other "I DID!" the twins once again began to
argue.
Show said "Well if you did then its your little Blow Hard Cards fault!"
"Well first its WINDY! And its your and Darks fault!"
Kero waved his little arms about "NO!"
"ITS SHADOW!!!"
Kero felt it then <Its both of them?!?! Oh ho!>
Then a sudden eruption came form both cards as the illustrations came to life.
Floating gently next to Sora, the beautiful Windy looked at her new master
honor. While standing next to Show the Shadow eyed its new owner in pride. Show
and Sora looked at each other and moaned. "NOT AGAIN!"
Kero fell from the air "Whats wrong with you two? You both get to keep the
cards, and all you say is NOT AGAIN?"
Show and Sora gave Kero a side-glance "Being Twins is not fun after a while."
they said.
Show looked up at the Shadow <Man this guy is awesome! But...> "Uh Kero, how do
we change them back to cards?"
Floating back up "Easy, with you words of magic."
"Sora just stared at him for a second Words of magic?"
"You have to find the words on your own."
Sora and Show looked at each other. Until they smiled "Got it."
Show looked at Shadow feeling a little bad <Man Shadow I'm sorry, but if mom came
home and sees you, she'll freak.> and as if he heard Shows thoughts Shadow
nodded as if to say 'I understand.' Show reached out and closed his eyes "SHADOW
RETURN TO THE FORM OF BINDING!" and Shadow turned to streams of himself and into
his card form in Shows hand "Wow."
Sora too looked at Windy sadly "I'll let you out again, promise." And Windy
looked down at her with a smile saying "I'll be waiting." "WINDY RETURN TO YOUR
POWER CONFINED!" then Windy too became a steam till she were a card again. "I
think this is going to be an interesting week Show."
"I know imagine if those Akimetsu guys bug us when we have these two with us."
Kero coughed loudly "Sorry to disappoint you two, but you have more important
things to worry about...... LIKE CATCHING THE OTHER CARDS!!! "
"Hey how many cards where there anyway?" Show asked.
"Fifty." Kero sighed.
"Hey Show?"
"Yep I get your drift sis." as he looked at her they grinned.
And for the last time that day they said in unition "THIS IS GOING TO BE
GREAT!!!"
Kero was less enthusiastic <These two Card Captors? Well at least they get alone
with the cards so thats a good sign.>

So now my sister and I are in charge of catching the other forty eight cards.
Man I wonder how were going to find them?
SHOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THATS MY NEW JOURNAL!
Its ours for our card catching thing, I thought It would be a good idea to keep
track of things.
And what am I going to do?
You wanna write to?
Yes.
Fine.
.........Now what?-.-
Nothing except night.
WHAT? O.O
